My Favourite Wedding Colour Schemes

Colour schemes are a great way to create cohesion between all the elements in your wedding. From your invites to decor, dresses to flowers, sticking to a particular colour palette can really bring everything together. I encounter a lot of different colour schemes and themes as a wedding photographer, and whilst they are all amazing, there are a particular few that are my favourites! If you are struggling to come up with a colour scheme for your wedding, a great way to get some inspiration is to scroll through Pinterest.

These are a few examples that I found on Pinterest that show some of my favourite colour schemes:

If you want to come up with your own unique colour scheme, here are a couple of websites that helped me when planning my own wedding:

Pantone- The ultimate guide to colour palettes. You can build you colour palette (up to 5 shades) to see which colours work well together and you can even get exact colour matches- for example, you could take a photo of your bridesmaid dresses and the app will tell you exactly what colour they are and what colours match with it. It is available as a free trial for a limited period.

Coolors- This website is free and allows you to create tonnes of different complimentary colour palettes. You can explore hundreds of already created colour schemes with the colour generator or create your own!

Happy planning!
